According to the World Resources Institute, a single cotton T-shirt requires 270 liters of water, equivalent to an adult's drinking water consumption for 2.5 years. The apparel industry's commitment to emissions reduction is of great significance and effectiveness. World-renowned clothing brand Levi Strauss has pledged to reduce its carbon emissions by 25% by 2020, with renewable energy accounting for 20% of its energy mix.
