It applies to electrical and electronic products produced, sold, and imported into mainland China.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">This mandatory national standard integrates and improves the relevant content of GB\/T 26572-2011 \"Limits of Restricted Substances in Electrical and Electronic Products\" and its amendments, as well as SJ\/T 11364-2024 \"Labeling Requirements for the Restriction of Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Products.\" The limit requirements for ten categories of hazardous substances are consistent with international industry requirements. This standard primarily supports the in-depth implementation of the \"Management Measures\" and is the first mandatory national standard in the field of RoHS control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Main technical updates<\/strong><br>1. This section stipulates that \"products manufactured or imported before the implementation date of this document shall comply with the requirements of this document starting from the 13th month after the implementation date of this document.\" This gives industry companies one year to digest their inventory products, effectively reducing their RoHS control costs.<br>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5. Added four terms and definitions: \"hazardous substances,\" \"environmentally friendly use period,\" \"management catalogue of restricted use of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic products,\" and \"application exceptions\" (see 3.2, 3.6, 3.7, and 3.8 of the draft for approval). These four terms and definitions enhance the operability of the standard implementation.<br>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6. The term and definition of \"restricted substances\" (see 3.1 of GB\/T 26572-2011) have been deleted. This term is not used in this standard.<br>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>7. Deleted the standard appendices A, B, C and D.
