ECHA will add the substance to the Candidate List in early November, bringing the total number of SVHCs to 242.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The substance information is as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table class=\"has-fixed-layout\"><tbody><tr><td>Substance name<\/td><td>Reasons to join<\/td><td>Common Uses<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>\u78f7\u9178\u4e09\u82ef\u916fTriphenyl phosphate (TPP)&nbsp;<br>CAS \u865f:115-86-6<br>EC \u865f\uff1a204-112-2<\/td><td>Endocrine disrupting properties (Section 57(f) - Environment)<\/td><td>It is mainly used as a flame retardant plasticizer for engineering plastics and phenolic resin laminates; it is also used as a softener for synthetic rubber and a raw material for the manufacture of trimethyl phosphate.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Note: ECHA originally planned to identify triphenyl phosphate for inclusion in the Candidate List at the June Committee meeting. However, after consulting with Committee members and the dossier submitters, ECHA decided to suspend the identification process due to the significant new data available on the substance before the meeting. This suspension ensured that the newly provided data could be properly evaluated and considered in the SVHC identification process.
