SASO RoHS is a mandatory regulation that officially came into effect on July 9, 2021. From January 5, 2022, electronic and electrical products imported into Saudi Arabia must comply with the regulations; otherwise, customs clearance will be denied.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  2. \u6c5eMercury (Hg)\u00a0 < 1000 ppm<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. \u9398Cadmium (Cd) < 100 ppm<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. \u516d\u50f9\u927bHexavalent Chromium (VI) < 1000 ppm<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. \u591a\u6eb4\u806f\u82efPolybrominated Biphenyls (PBB) < 1000 ppm<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. \u591a\u6eb4\u806f\u82ef\u919aPolybrominated Biphenyl Ethers (PBDE) < 1000 ppm<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Newly produced electronic and electrical equipment will be given a 180-day buffer period (calculated from the date of regulatory announcement) and must comply with the regulatory requirements from January 5, 2022; products entering the market before July 9, 2021 will be given a 365-day buffer period, and products that do not comply with the regulatory requirements can only be sold until July 9, 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
