<\/a>EU Rapid Alert System for Dangerous Non-Food Products (RAPEX, now called Safety Gate) <\/strong><\/a>The European Commission compiles information on non-compliant products reported by member states weekly and publishes it on its official website. In the RAPEX cases published between January 1 and 28, 2022 (RAPEX Report-2022-1 to RAPEX Report-2022-4), various electrical and electronic products violated Annex XVII of the REACH Regulation (Regulation (EU) 1907\/2006), the RoHS Directive (Directive 2011\/65\/EU), and the POPs Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2019\/2021), resulting in various mandatory measures. The main violations were excessive levels of plasticizers in plastic components and excessive levels of heavy metals in solder on printed circuit boards.
