This year, several U.S. states have significantly strengthened their regulations on e-waste, with Connecticut, Minnesota, North Carolina, Oregon, and Texas all passing similar e-waste management ordinances. Previously, eight states\u2014Arkansas, California, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Washington\u2014had already implemented similar regulations. In the medium term, more states are expected to legislate to regulate e-waste. As more states enact their own e-waste laws, the U.S. needs to develop federal legislation in this area, or, through various relevant parties, promote uniform national standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
