Oko-Institut also created a website so the public can access the latest review information at any time. The website address is:<a href=\"http:\/\/rohs.exemptions.oeko.info\/\">http:\/\/rohs.exemptions.oeko.info\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On behalf of the European Commission, the consulting firm Oko-Institut began soliciting opinions from relevant industry stakeholders on January 28, 2008, regarding the 29 exclusion clauses of the current RoHS regulation and three proposed new exclusion clauses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Lead in solders for the connection of very thin enameled wires with a terminal (proposed by Siemens)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Lead and cadmium are used as components of the glazes and colors to glaze or decorate lamp bases, lamp carriers, or clocks (proposed by the EU ceramics industry, Ceramics-Unie).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Lead in solders in a third-party component of Cortex family equipment (proposed by In-Snec Corporation)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">This stakeholder consultation will last for nine weeks.
