Producers must meet this proposed collection rate annually starting in 2016. This rate applies to both residential and non-residential WEEE. For specific countries facing difficulties in meeting the collection target, a transitional period will be permitted through a working procedure. In 2012, the European Parliament and the Council will review the individual collection targets and collection rates for refrigeration and freezing equipment based on the Executive Committee report and draft proposal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
