These proposed substances were submitted by Member States and ECHA because they are considered to pose a potentially serious hazard or impact on human health or the environment. Interested parties can submit comments on these proposed substances by October 13, 2011. These comments will be taken into consideration in decisions regarding the inclusion of proposed substances in the SVHC candidate list and the selection of substances from the candidate list to be authorized. Currently, the SVHC candidate list contains 53 substances.
