The Parliament and the Council have two months to decide whether to object or request an additional two months for consideration. If no objections are received from these entities, the new restriction will be automatically incorporated into the RoHS 2.0 Directive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If the restrictions are formally implemented under the RoHS 2.0 Directive, all EU member states will begin compliance on December 31, 2016. The content of DEHP, BBP, DBP, and DiBP in all electrical and electronic products, excluding medical devices and monitoring equipment, will be limited to the specified limits from July 22, 2019.
