The Environmental Protection Administration (EPA) announced today that it has drafted an environmental label for reusable cups and held a public hearing. It hopes to announce the draft in August for manufacturers to apply for, so that consumers can choose safe and environmentally friendly cups based on the label.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The plasticizer scandal has made people wary of plastics. In addition to reducing the use of plastic containers in daily life, people also have safety concerns about their own reusable beverage containers (i.e., eco-friendly cups).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Environmental Protection Administration (EPA) announced today that it has drafted a standard specification for eco-friendly cups with eco-labels and held its second public hearing on June 13. A review meeting is expected at the end of June, and if the administrative process proceeds smoothly, the \"Standard Specification for Eco-friendly Cups with Eco-labels\" is expected to be announced in August for manufacturers to apply for. In the future, consumers can choose to purchase eco-friendly cups with eco-labels to ensure they are free of toxic substances such as plasticizers, PVC, and bisphenol A.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the current draft standards for the eco-label of eco-friendly cups proposed by the Environmental Protection Administration, eco-friendly cups cannot be made of chlorine-containing plastics. Applicants must submit a report on the plastic material.
