The VELO system will display the daily energy usage data of all 7,500 tenants in the building, including Royal Bank of Canada and JP Morgan Chase. This data, including the amount of energy consumed in a day, will be displayed on a large screen in the building lobby.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Zerofootprin points out that once people start seeing the real-time dynamics of energy use within the building's 21,000 square feet of space, they typically re-evaluate their energy consumption within the building and begin turning off unnecessary appliances and lighting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
