The toy walkie-talkie's solder contained 54.6% lead, failing to meet the requirements of the RoHS Directive (Directive 2011\/65\/EU), thus requiring the manufacturer to recall the product from the market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Furthermore, the plastic bag of this product contains up to 2.3% di-2-ethylhexyl phthalate (DEHP). According to REACH regulations, DEHP, DBP, and BBP are prohibited in all toys and children's products, while DINP, DIDP, and DNOP are prohibited in toys or childcare products that children may put in their mouths.
