SONY announced the seventh version of SS-00259 on March 3, 2008, and it became effective on April 1, 2008. A total of 22 categories of managed substances are listed in the seventh edition of SS-00259, of which perfluorooctane sulfonic acid and its salts (PFOS) and specific benzotriazole (Specific Benzotriazole) are new items.
