From October 1, 2004, the official regulations and standards are as follows:◎The EU put forward a consultation paper in December 2003, setting out the recommended concentration upper limits as: ‧The maximum concentration of lead, mercury, hexavalent chromium, PBB, and PBDE contained in the same material shall not exceed 0.1% (1000ppm) by weight. ‧The maximum concentration of cadmium contained in materials of the same material shall not exceed 0.01% (100 ppm) by weight [concentration unit conversion → 1% = 10,000ppm, 1ppm = 0.0001%]◎The European Union has officially stipulated that the previously recommended values have come into effect since October 2004, and stipulates that different materials with different colors and the same material with different colors must be tested separately. |
Because countries around the world are paying more and more attention to environmental and ecological issues, packaging materials are often discarded arbitrarily by consumers after use, and then enter the environmental soil, and the harmful substances contained in them will directly cause harm to the environment. Therefore, relevant laws and regulations have been formulated to regulate compliance with environmental protection regulations.
