EU REACH Annex XVII adds new restrictions on 1,4-dichlorobenzene

The European Union issued Regulation (EU) 474/2014 for the list of hazardous substances in Appendix 17 of the REACH regulation, adding a new item 64, 1,4-dichlorobenzene, with a concentration limit of 1%, which is mainly related to air fresheners/deodorants. Effective June 1, 2015.
