ECHA updates REACH authorization list [Appendix 14]

The amendments to Annex 14 (the Authorization List) of the REACH Regulation were published in the Official Gazette on April 18. Eight new substances were added, bringing the total to 22. Anyone intending to use or sell any substance on the list in the EU market must apply for authorization within 18 months prior to the sunset clause's expiry date in order to continue using it.
