On March 3, 2008, Sony released the seventh edition of SS-00259, which took effect on April 1, 2008. The seventh edition of SS-00259 lists 22 categories of controlled substances, including perfluorooctane sulfonic acid and its salts (PFOS) and specific benzotriazole, which are new additions.
