Energy Using Products (EuP) Directive

2008-02-26

The implementation methods expected to be adopted in 2008 include:

External power supply and battery charger;
Loss of power consumption in standby and off modes of home appliances
Lighting equipment (office and street lighting)
Computers (expected by the end of 2008 or the beginning of 2009)
Simple machine box

Once the above implementation methods are published, they will affect product design, and the demand for energy-saving components is expected to increase as a result.
